Wednesday, Oui? Vacation, Cidney and Christmas in Maine...

Today officially begins my 12 day vacation... my much needed 12 day vacation.

As if that wasn't Oui enough, last weekend we went to my Mother's house in Maine to celebrate Christmas. We had an amazing time. My sister, nephew and my brother-in-law were all there. One of the total highlights of the trip? I finally convinced my Mom to buy the puppy she has been dreaming of for the last 4 years.

His first car ride. We battled a ton of snow to drive about 30 miles to make him ours. I drove Mom in my car because it handles amazingly in the snow. Am I a good daughter, or what?

It didn't take long before Cid became part of the family; like he'd always been there.

We had a great weekend. I absolutely love going to the farm. We ate, and ate, and exchanged amazing gifts and just generally spent a lot of time together. I love being with my family, especially when you're filled to the brim with good food and spirit!
