In honor of Dr. Seuss' birthday today, I am going to pay homage to him by posting some fun facts and favorite quotes by the late great children's author. Dr. Seuss had an uncanny way of understanding human emotion- he was wise beyond his years.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

- Dr. Seuss' editor challenged him to pen a story using less than 50 different words, Green Eggs and Ham was the result of that dare.
- He was born in 1904 and would have been 105 today.
- Dr. Seuss was born 'Theodore Seuss Geisel' - Seuss being his mother’s maiden name.
- He added the "Dr" as a joke because his father wanted him to get a doctorate and become a professor.
- He published over 40 books, selling nearly a half BILLION copies-- more than J.K Rowling's Harry Potter series.
- He did not have any children and his widow stated that he was afraid of them.

Where ever do you find the information you write about? You need to go on that show with Trabeck. I say Trabeck because I cant remember how to spell Jeopardy and am not sure.
