Boston for the week

Here I am, again, at yet another work conference. This time down in Boston for the A-CRA training. Did I say Boston? Oops, I meant Natick; right across the street from the Natick Collection... just what qualifies as a work expense?

Aaron and I came down to Boston early this morning because I was a guest at an honorary luncheon hosted by Dana Farber for all of its donors. So it worked out perfectly that I was able to scoot right over the the hotel they are putting me up at, as Natick is only about 20 minutes outside of Boston.

The luncheon was amazing. I was able to meet a ton of other donors and, as a surprise, they reunited one recipient with her donor in front of everyone. I don't think there was a dry eye in the house. It was so nice to be honored for my donation, and to be recognized by others who truly understand the pride that one feels with giving life to someone else. We all received a gift and a certificate. I will post pictures later.

So, stay tuned for the training saga... at least I am here with a few friends, I will make the best of it.
