We do all that too- it amazes me that it's not common sense to all people! As for the resused/2nd hand clothes it's the staple of my wardrobe ;) and I am militant about turning lights out!
Not nearly as much as you - however,
- we do recycle
- we walk when and where we can
- we donate clothes and items we no longer use or need
- we also (all) have second hand or used clothing
- we only use 2 - 13 gallon garbage bags every 2 weeks
- we don't use gas (or any other fuel) when we burn in our fire pit
- we have a high efficiency washer/dry and dishwasher
- we also have energy efficient appliances & water filter (our water is awful at our house)
- we mulch the clippings and leaves in our yard when Mike mows
- I love my digital camera
- I am an avid member/donor to the National Wildlife Federation
- I almost always (98% sounds good) use reusable bags at the store
- we also use towels more than once before washing
- our lights get turned off each and every day, at the same time
- all of our light bulbs are energy efficient
- our heat and hot water are on demand - meaning there is no unnecessary running of the systems, and no unnecessary emissions
- we use propane heat, it burns clearer, and cleaner
There is more, I just can't seem to put it all into words.
Happy Earth Day, my Eco-Maniac <3
