For the sake of time...

Things keep happening and I say to myself, "oh I have to blog about this, or this , or this" and truth is, I am so busy. I must acknowledge that I am so fortunate to be able to do a lot of the things I have been doing, but sadly, I'm getting behind. Light years behind in the blogosphere to be exact. Today, I'm going to do one huge post about recent happenings, with pictures. There's going to be a lot of "meat" in this entry, but with vacation coming up and the weather sure to be nice, I will most likely remain behind the eight ball if I try to commit to doing a post for every event.

So, on the weekend of March 30th, we went down to Marblehead MA, for a race. Aaron and his teammates did a great job, the weather was cold, but sunny. I, along with my friend Claire, (who's boyfriend is a teammate of Aaron) spent the morning walking the course, talking, and taking pictures of our boys/team.

A great action picture of Aaron (in the Metlife kit)

.

As you can see, across the bay from Marblehead, a BEAUTIFUL view of Boston.

And speaking of Boston, the next weekend (April 5-6), just as I was starting to get very, very sick Aaron took me to one of my most favorite places in the whole world... the New England Aquarium. It was a cold and blustery day, but what a perfect way to pass the day, snuggly inside the aquarium spying on sea life. I decided, while I was there, that I absolutely need to have a seal. I wonder if there is a place one could buy a seal? People buy whales, why can't I have a seal? Please, please, please?!

This is not the seal I want... the one I wanted had really long whiskers. But this one is cute too.

I also would like to request, for my birthday this year, a penguin. Not a six-foot-tall one, but a little one. Can someone please make sure I get that? Did y'all write it down? P-E-N-G-U-I-N.

Myrtle, the 75 year old turtle (truly!)

Of course I crawled over children to get to the "hands-on" section of the aquarium. I love everything that lives and breathes; as long as we aren't talking spiders, ticks and mosquitos. I love 'em all folks!! Mine! Mine! Mine!

Lastly, on Friday April 11th we ventured to Portland, specifically Ruby Tuesday's, to celebrate Demus' (as in Nicodemus, my sister Nicki's) THIRTIETH birthday. (I wanted to spell it out because it looks heavier in print.) We had a great time, my dad gave an emotional and embarrassing speech, Nicki was mortified, they have a salad bar... -nuff said?

The whole family, together. A rare sighting.

How delicious is this angelic creature?

My boys... all 4.5 of them ;)

One more entry then I am all caught up ;)

One of these days I have GOT to see Aaron race. I am sure he already has a large fan-base but one more couldn't hurt right? Also, I just want to say how sad I am that I missed this family get-together. I love hanging with you guys.

Great pictures! I am so jealous that you made it to the aquarium - we are planning a date soon enough. And jealous that you got to see Nicki and Xander and Rich (did I put that in the right order). And jealous that you spent a day near the water...oh Jessi, I am just going to live vicariously through your blogs :)

BTW, I told Zach that Aaron races AND shaves his legs...he thinks that's funny :) We would love to see him race too. Although, Zach is more of a stunt rider and less of a racer.

Yes, yes, yes! I would love for you all to come to a race. We should pick one and make it a date. I'll try to find one central to everyone and get back to you!

Aaron loves to have fans there! If he had several women routing for him he would be easy to spot in the race because he would 1. be the one with the BIG head. and 2. the one in the front ;)

And Amity, we missed you too :(
