Over Labor Day we went to camp, of course. Labor Day has always been the last hurrah for those who summer in Maine and it's always a little sad. While we did get a lot of rain over the four days we were there, we also had a couple days of absolute perfection.
When we arrived in Maine we drove straight to my parent's farm instead of camp because we knew my niece was there. She loves Toby. Sarah is the sweetest little girl.

We always go to the Windsor fair with my Mom and Dan on Labor Day weekend. I love the Windsor fair because it's a historic fair; it's like going back in time.
My Mother and I entered the women's fry pan tossing contest. We didn't win but, we threw that fry pan like it was our job. It was so much fun! We're going to practice for next year!
This fair has maple syrup everything. We got ice cream and cotton candy!
We did have a few good/sunny days too. Toby enjoyed the lake and the duckies!

We left on Labor day and made a pit stop at L.L Bean in Freeport. Y'all know I love L.L. Bean and it has absolutely nothing to do with the fact that my Pepe built the actual store. Okay, so aside from the fact that I love the brand, quality, and style of L.L. Bean it has everything to do with the fact that my Pepe built the actual store.

There is actually a lot to do at the store.
BUT, in Freeport there is also a store called "Wicked Whoopie." The only thing sold in this store are whoopie pies. Lawd have mercy. I definitely broke the bank!

We got home pretty late so we ordered some take out and gave Toby a prize that we bought him. He certainly enjoyed that cookie!
A few other things to note: While we were there Toby learned to RUN. It was precious. He also learned two new signs (or used them, I should say) "Boat" and "Chicken."
So, another summer of going to camp is behind us. We had a great time there and made lots of memories. Next year will be here soon enough!
